About the Dolphins
DR. D AND THE DOLPHINS
It's no secret that we are lovers of dolphins, and have had some great adventures and encounters with them.
A few years ago, the staff arranged for us to swim with them at Sea World, and that resulted in the dual smiles you see in this picture.
The next time you are in, make certain to see the short video of Bill and Ellen swimming with the dolphins and sharks. We even got to play assistant trainers for a day following some courses at the National Institutes of Health hosted by our study group.
It was really neat to be able to feed the dolphins underwater and then be spun around by their extremely powerful flippers. Their grace, strength and playfulness is something to behold!

Why Dolphins??!!
Dolphins have always represented to us the most fun-loving, friendly creatures. Their spirited playfulness and exuberant joy of living have been an example that can benefit us all.
Bill and Ellen have been scuba diving for over thirty years and have never failed to be exhilarated at the sighting these fascinating mammals.
Swimming underwater with them has been a highlight of their lives.
Stories abound of dolphins saving drowning children. But it's the dolphin's strength and innate grace that have most frequently captured our admiration.
For years we've glimpsed these frolicking creatures exulting with curiosity and pure jubilant energy.
To us, dolphins are symbols of passionately embracing life with zeal, wonder, love and a great sense of play. We hope this inspiration carries through the care that we provide every day!

Our friends Geoff Hanan and Tita Dimnik run fantastic trips out of Bimini in the Bahamas. They have a unique system where they actually pull you along in the water at the same speed as the dolphins are swimming. The dolphins stay around longer to play because they aren't held back by the clunky humans.
