As Seen in Inland Empire Magazine
The SmileStudio in Upland has, for thirty years, focused on creating beautiful and powerful smiles by leveraging all that high-tech dentistry has to offer. But its founder, William Domb, DMD, emphasizes that it's far more than the technology that can make for a satisfying relationship with a dental office.
"Our job is to help our patients get where THEY want to go. Many look for a great makeover experience, others seek optimal health, reliable comfort or simply fewer hassles from their teeth. Another area of particular interest for us has been relieving chronic head pain. You can't imagine the thrill on someone's face who's finally free of migraine for the first time in years. It's all about living more abundantly! That's why our office is symbolized by the dolphins."
"We have a strong interest in preventing dental problems and are particularly concerned with infections that start in the mouth and have effects on the entire body," says Dr. Maher. The office has pioneered a variety of techniques called Minimal Intervention Dentistry using laser and polarized light to spot decay as well as chemical tests to locate hidden infection.
The doctors have also committed to spreading their knowledge to other professionals. Dr. Domb is the Director of the Inland Institute of Cosmetic Dentistry and lectures at a number of dental and medical schools both in Southern California and outside of the U.S.
"We hope people will visit our website, www.SmileStudio.com ," says Dr. Maher. "It provides a wealth of information not only on cosmetics but many of the other areas we're passionate about in dentistry."
